Paper Submission
For paper formatting instructions, please follow the guidelines included in the Springer's LNICST Author's Kit. A number of submissions relevant to the conference topics are welcomed from academia, industry, and government organizations. The length of submitted articles varies according to the type of the paper:
Standard Papers, not exceeding 8 pages, describe a mature piece of work, typically a finished project with available full results.
Short Papers, not exceeding 4 pages, describe an ongoing piece of research, typically at a work-in-progress stage, that can already demonstrate a promising research direction and show originality.
Submission Guidelines
Papers should be electronically submitted through the EasyChair system using the following instructions:
- Register for an EasyChair account. Upon registering, you will obtain a username and a password. The registration confirmation email will be emailed to you. If you don't receive the registration email within 5 minutes then please check your spam mail folder.
- Click on the provided link in the email and enter the secret word
- Login to the EasyChair using your new account. Please make sure that you are in the Home page of IS & DF 2009.
- Click on New Submission tab
- Enter the title, abstract, key words for your paper and manuscript of your paper.
- You will receive an email once the submission is complete.
If you find any difficulties in paper submission with EasyChair system then please email dasun.weerasinghe [at] city.ac.uk with attaching the menu script.

Deadline for the camera ready copy is 20 Aug 2009. Please send the camera ready copy in Microsoft Word format with completed copyright form.
